The Myositis Association's members participate in local, regional and national events. Some are designed to raise money, raise awareness or provide patient support; all help teach the wider community about the issues facing myositis patients and patients with rare, chronic disease.

The Conference regularly includes sessions on research, exercise, advocacy and coping skills, and disease-specific question and answer sessions as well as new and interesting sessions each year.
