Carolyn Slocomb, “Lolly” to her grandchildren, was devoted to her family. She loved to spend her time with her grandchildren creating crafts, reading seasonal books and being in nature, just as she did with her own 5 children. She passed in 2024 within several months of a diagnosis of myositis, a rare, confusing, and debilitating muscle disease that currently has no cure. To honor her life and love she shared, we would like to raise awareness and funds for The Myositis Association, which supports research efforts for this rare disease, those affected by it, and their families.
